We work directly with over 500 master weavers and artisans across 12 Indian states — from the silk looms of Varanasi to the cotton workshops of Bengal, from the ikat artisans of Odisha to the chikankari workers of Lucknow.
Our direct partnership model eliminates exploitative middlemen, ensuring that the majority of every sale goes directly to the artisans. We provide advance payments, healthcare support, and educational scholarships for artisans' children.
In 2022, we launched the "Weaver's Legacy" program — a mentorship initiative that pairs master weavers with young apprentices to ensure these centuries-old crafts are passed to the next generation.
Milestones
From a small dream to a nationwide movement celebrating Indian handloom.
Chandini Collections founded in Jaipur with a vision to connect artisan weavers directly with saree enthusiasts. Started with a curated collection of 50 handpicked sarees.
Opened our first physical store in Jaipur, becoming a destination for handloom enthusiasts. Expanded artisan partnerships to 5 states and 150+ weavers.
Launched our e-commerce platform, bringing handloom sarees to customers across India. Introduced virtual try-on and detailed artisan profiles for every saree.
Reached the milestone of 10,000 happy customers. Launched the Weaver's Welfare Fund and expanded to 8 states with 350+ artisan partners.
Celebrated 50,000 customers worldwide. Launched the Weaver's Legacy mentorship program and introduced our sustainable packaging initiative.
